Dream11 Points System: Complete Scoring Guide

Batting points
Points are awarded for runs scored, boundaries, strike rate, and milestone bonuses. Apply these rules in your team selection strategy.
Run Scoring
+1 point per run scored. The foundation of batting points. Consistent run-scorers accumulate steady points.
Boundaries
+1 bonus point for every boundary (4). +2 bonus points for every six (6). Boundary hitters earn extra points.
Strike Rate Bonus
In T20/ODI: SR > 170 = +6 pts, SR 150-170 = +4 pts, SR 130-150 = +2 pts. No bonus if SR < 60 in T20 or < 40 in ODI.
Milestones
+8 points for half-century (50 runs), +16 points for century (100 runs). Bonus applies when milestone is reached.
Duck Penalty
Batsman dismissed for 0 runs loses -2 points. Applies only if batsman faces at least one ball.
Bowling points
Bowlers earn points for wickets, maidens, economy rate, and bowling milestones. Critical for cricket team building.
Wickets
+25 points per wicket (excluding run-outs). LBW and Bowled wickets get +8 bonus. Maiden over = +12 points.
Economy Rate Bonus
In T20: Economy < 5 = +6 pts, 5-6 = +4 pts, 6-7 = +2 pts. Penalty of -2 to -6 if economy > 10.
3/4/5 Wicket Hauls
+4 points for 3 wickets, +8 points for 4 wickets, +16 points for 5 wickets in a single match.
Bowling SR Penalty
In ODI/T20, if bowling SR > 18 and no wickets, penalty of -4 points applies.
Fielding & other points
Fielding contributions and team performance can add significant points. Maximize these in your team strategy.
Catches & Stumpings
+8 points per catch (for non-wicket-keepers). +12 points for stumping. +12 for direct-hit run-out.
Wicket-keeper Bonus
Keepers get +8 per catch and +12 per stumping. 3 dismissals in innings = +4 bonus points.
Captain & Vice-Captain
Captain points multiplied by 2x. Vice-captain points multiplied by 1.5x. Most important selection.
Playing XI Bonus
+4 points just for being in the starting lineup. Substitute players get 0 points even if they field.
