Dream11 App login & signup: mobile OTP, password reset, 2FA
Login to the Dream11 App is mobile-OTP by default, with email/password as a fallback for desktop. New users sign up with mobile number → OTP → email + password → KYC. Two-factor authentication is recommended for any account that holds a wallet balance. This guide covers the four login flows and the recovery paths if something goes wrong.

OpenFirst-time signup
New users sign up with their mobile number. The Dream11 App sends an OTP to verify the number, then asks for an email and a password. KYC (PAN + bank account or PAN + Aadhaar) is required before any withdrawal, but you can play practice contests and browse the contest lobby before completing KYC.
Step 1 — mobile number
Enter your 10-digit Indian mobile number. The Dream11 App sends a 6-digit OTP. The OTP expires in 5 minutes; resend if needed.
Step 2 — email + password
After OTP verification, set an email and a password. Use a unique, strong password. Email is used for password reset and account recovery.
Step 3 — basic profile
Set your display name, date of birth (must be 18+), and state. The state is used for state-wise legality checks.
Step 4 — KYC (recommended)
Complete PAN + Aadhaar or PAN + bank account KYC before your first withdrawal. KYC is also recommended before your first paid contest.
Returning user login
Returning users log in with mobile OTP by default. The OTP is sent to the registered mobile number. On desktop, email/password is a faster fallback for users who do not want to wait for an OTP.
Mobile OTP (default)
Open the Dream11 App, enter the registered mobile number, receive the OTP, enter it. You are logged in.
Email + password (desktop)
On desktop, enter the registered email and password. Useful when you do not have your mobile with you.
Biometric (mobile)
Some mobile devices support biometric login (fingerprint, face). Enable it in Settings → Security after your first successful login.
Persistent session (PWA)
The web PWA remembers your login across launches. You do not need to log in every time.
Password reset and account recovery
If you forget your password, use the in-app "Forgot password" flow. The Dream11 App sends a reset link to your registered email. The link is valid for 30 minutes. If you lose access to both your mobile and email, contact support through the in-app help center.
Forgot password (in-app)
Tap "Forgot password" on the login screen. Enter the registered email. The Dream11 App sends a reset link valid for 30 minutes.
Reset link
Open the link in any browser. Set a new password (must be different from the previous one). The new password is active immediately.
Lost mobile + email
Contact support through the in-app help center. KYC documents (PAN + Aadhaar) are required to verify identity before any account recovery.
Locked account
Too many failed login attempts locks the account for 30 minutes. Wait for the lock to expire, then try again with the correct credentials.
Two-factor authentication (2FA)
Two-factor authentication is the single best protection for any account with a wallet balance. With 2FA enabled, logging in requires both your password and a one-time code sent to your registered mobile.
Enable 2FA in Settings → Security
After login, go to Settings → Security → Two-factor authentication. Enable the toggle. The next login will require both password and OTP.
Use 2FA for withdrawals
Withdrawals can be protected with a separate 2FA code, sent to the registered mobile. Enable in Settings → Wallet → Withdrawal 2FA.
Backup the recovery code
When you enable 2FA, the Dream11 app generates a one-time recovery code. Store this code in a password manager or write it down — it is the only way to recover access if you lose your mobile.
Disable 2FA with KYC
Disabling 2FA requires KYC verification through the in-app flow. The KYC step is required to prevent a stolen phone from disabling your 2FA.
